I was supposed to be at the Manchester zinesfest last Saturday, but through a bizarre combination of natural disasters and plane trouble I ended up spending five hours in the airport and arriving twenty minutes before closing time.
Very disappointed, not to mention cranky as hell and there’s no way in hell I’ll ever go to Manchester on a plane. It felt rather surreal having to catch a plane for somewhere I would usually drive, but it was th cheapest option compared to trains and driving was a little too chancy as I am more than capable of getting lost in a cardboad box.
I did pick up a few interesting zines, Leisure Centre being one of my favourite among others. On the upside I now have stuff for TINA and I finally have moo cards too.
