Second shoot was supposed to be a chocolate mousse concoction layered over filo pastry and cream.
Due to some technical difficulties involving the filo pastry losing its shape, the understudy ended up taking centre stage. Pictured here is the strawberry and cream alternative.
It made me realise how unattractive chocolate mousse can be if not lit correctly. When you think about it, it’s brown, soft looking and bears an uncanny resemblance to Mr Hankey.
I’ve attached a proof sheet of the other shots that didn’t make the cut. This shot’s my favourite, but I’m starting to see the need for a good 50mm lens.
